The incidence of OSAHS in children is related to many factors. The most common cause is tonsillar hypertrophy and adenoid hypertrophy. Adenotonsillectomy is the preferred treatment for OSAHS in children. But there are still some problems that need to be addressed. This paper reviews the preoperative evaluation and diagnosis of OSAHS in children, the improvement of quality of life after operation and postoperative continuous intervention.
