Sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia with laryngeal mask spontaneous ventilation in ptosis surgery

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of Sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia with laryngeal mask spontaneous ventilation in ptosis surgery. Methods 50 patients were performed ptosis surgery in our hospital using laryngeal mask of spontaneous ventilation for Sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia. Result All were successfully done except for 4 transient respiratory depression but no movement. The 4 patients were improved by assisted respiration. Conclusion Sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia with laryngeal mask of spontaneous ventilation is an ideal anesthetic method that can meet the operation requirements, with controlled safety of respiratory tract, quick post-operative awake and low adverse reactions.
