Selective low position and horizontal tracheotomy in larynx neoplasm

Abstract:

Objective〓〖WTBZ〗To explore the effects of selective low position and horizontal tracheotomy on the decrease of complications in larynx neoplasm. 〖WTHZ〗Method〓〖WTBZ〗Low position horizontal tracheotomy was performed on 37 cases of pharyngeal or laryngeal tumors before surgical treatment, and possible complications were observed.〖WTHZ〗Results〓〖WTBZ〗No bleeding, difficulty in removing the canular, unclosed fistula and pneumothorax happened. 〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〓〖WTBZ〗This procedure has advantages of little bleeding, less infection, small scar and rare complications.
