Abstract: ［ABSTRACT］Objective: To compare the effect of CaldwellLuc surgery and endoscopy for invasive fungal sinusitis of maxillary sinus. Method: CaldwellLuc operation was performed on 12 patients with pure invasive, and endoscopic sinus surgery was performed on 18 patients with fungal sinusitis of maxillary sinus combined with ethmoid sinusitis. Results: Of the patients performed CaldwellLuc operation, 11 were cured with a ratio of 91.67%, and of those performed endoscopic sinus surgery, 16 were cured with a ratio of 88.89%. There was no significant difference between the two methods on the cure rate. Conclusion: Both CaldwellLuc and endoscopic sinus surgery have good effect for invasive fungal sinusitis of maxillary sinus.
