Abstract: To investigate the clinical efficacy of hypothermy plasma operative system on nasoendoscope on nasal adhesion. Method: Septoptasty or nasal polypectomy was performed in 212 patients with nasal septum deviation or nasal polyp with inferior turbinates hypertrophic. Of them, 141 underwent hypothermy plasma ablation, 71 did not. Result: During a follow up of six months, 4.30% of nasal adhesion was found in hypothermy plasma ablation group, and 7.04% in control group (P＜0.01). Conclusion: Hypothermy plasma ablation on middle turbinate, inferior turbinate and nasal septum can reduce the rate of nasal adhesion.
