Secondary palatorrhaphy through the nasal cavity by nasal endoscopy

Abstract:

To develop a new way for secondary palatorrhaphy. MethodsThe clinical data of 11 cases that had undergone secondary palatorrhaphy from September 2003 to August 2007 were retrospectively analyzed.  ResultsAll patients were cured by one operation and felt fine ventilation through their noses. ConclusionsSecondary palatorrhaphy through the nasal cavity by nasal endoscopy is effective and the mucoperiosteal flap is unique for the repair.
