Abstract: Objective    To apply the improved double eyelid locator in the treatment of ultra-force type single eyelid patients. Methods    212 cases of ultra-force type single eyelid enrolled in the eye clinic of Dongguan Changping Hospital from January 2011 to February 2013 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. The observation group exploited double eyelid locator in double eyelid surgery, while the control group was treated by the conventional incision method in double eyelid surgery. The average operation time, swollen degree of eyelid and fluency and symmetry of double eyelid of the two groups 7 days after surgery. Results    The postoperative eyelid shapes were satisfying in both groups. The differences of average operation time, swollen degree of eyelid and fluency and symmetry of double eyelid in the two groups were all significant. Conclusion    Modified application of double eyelid locator in the surgery of ultra-force type single eyelid patients has the advantages of easy operation, minimal invasion, quick recovery and good curative effect.
