Changes of the AC/A ratio in school-age children with low myopia

Abstract:

Objective〓〖WTBZ〗To explore the correlation between low myopia and accommodative convergence(AC) in school-age children. 〖WTHZ〗Methods〓〖WTBZ〗The AC/A ratio was measured by a Synoptophore in 63 pupils aging from 8 to 12 years. 〖WTHZ〗Result〓〖WTBZ〗The AC/A ratio had obvious differences between the refractive normal group and the low myopia group. 〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〓〖WTBZ〗The AC/A ratio is lower in refractive normal pupils than in low myopia pupils.
