Abstract:

Objective     To determine the MDA level, ADA and SOD activities and to explore their correlations in the polyp and serum of nasal polyp patients. Methods     The activity of ADA, SOD and MDA level of specimens and serum were measured with the method of chromatometry, and the polyp and serum of the experiment group were obtained from 24 patients with nasal polyp. The control specimens of the inferior turbinate mucosa and serum were acquired from 20 patients with deflection of the nasal septum. Results     ①The level of MDA and activity of ADA in the polyp and serum of nasal polyp patients were remarkably higher than those in the control group (P<0.01).
