Volume sinus osteomas： clinical analysis and operative method in 21 cases

Abstract:

Objective    To explore the clinical characteristic and surgery method for frontal sinus osteoma. Methods     Based on the volume and position of the tumor body, 21 cases of volume sinus osteoma were removed en-nose, ex-nose or en-and ex-nose jointly. Results    Followed up for 1 to 3 years post-operative, headache symptom disappeared, and no osteoma relapsed. Conclusion     Different operative routes based on the volume and position of the tumor are convenient and  helpful in reducing operative complications.
