Abstract:

Objective    To observe the efficacy and safety of domestic calcium dobesilate in the treatment of background diabetic retinopathy(DR).  Methods    This was a selfcontrol trial.  The research purpose was to observe the change of the patients′ vision and eyeground in the condition of fudus fluorescein angiograms, and also to observe  hemorheological variation by biochemistry analyzer  in 50 patients after treatment. The 50 patients received oral domestic calcium dobesilate for 1m, 2m and 3m during the treatment.   Results    The hemorheological index of 50  patients decreased with different degrees ，including hematocrit (high shear rate and low shear rate) and blood viscosity.The therapeutic effective rate was 88%.There was no obvious discomfort or adverse reaction observed in the patients that accepted domestic calcium dobesilate tablets during 3 months.  Conclusions    Domestic calcium dobesilate is effective and safe in the treatment of DR.
