Efficacy of pingyangmycin local injection and CO2 laser in the treatment of pharyngeal and laryngeal hemangioma

Abstract:

Objective To investigate the efficacy of Pingyangmycin local injection and CO2 laser in the treatment of pharyngeal and laryngeal hemangiomas. Methods 25 cases of pharyngeal and laryngeal hemangioma were divided into two groups: Pingyangmycin treatment group (Group A, 16 cases) and CO2 laser treatment group (Group B, 9 cases). Results The cure rate was 81.3% (10/13) in group A and 88.9%(1/9) in group B without serious complication. Conclusion Both Pingyangmycin local injection and CO2 laser surgery are effective therapeutic methods for pharyngeal and laryngeal hemangioma, and individualized treatment could improve the effect.
