Abstract: To explore the characteristic of the location of epistaxis. Methods: The clinical data of 2?150 patients with epistaxis receiving endoscopy were retrospectively studied. Results: Epistaxis was found at first visit in 1?920 cases(89.30%)respectively in Little′s area (1?284 cases, 59.72%), inferior meatus (151 cases, 7.02%), foreside of olfactory sulcus (107 cases, 4.98%), middle part of nasal septum (106 cases, 4.93%), inferior turbinate (59 cases, 2.74%), floor of nose (40 cases, 1.86%), and others (173 cases,8.05%), and it was not defined in 230 cases (10.70%). Conclusion: Epistaxis is found most common in little′s area, then in inferior meatus, foreside of olfactory sulcus, and middle part of nasal septum.
