Maxillectomy and ethmoidectomy in the treatment of early carcinomas of the nasal cavity and the ethmoid sinus

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 目的探讨早期鼻腔筛窦癌的治疗方法及其效果。方法回顾性分析我院1995年1月至2001年10月应用鼻腔外侧壁筛窦切除术治疗7例Ⅰ期、18例Ⅱ期鼻腔筛窦癌的效果。结果术后随访3～5年，失访2例，局部复发6例，3年生存率70.8%（17/24），5年生存率50.0%（8/16），无严重并发症发生。结论鼻腔外侧壁筛窦切除术治疗Ⅰ、Ⅱ期鼻腔筛窦癌疗效确切，并发症少。

Abstract: To explore the treatment methods and long-term effect for early carcinomas of the nasal cavity and the ethmoid sinus. Methods25 cases of I or II stage carcinoma received medical maxillectomy and ethmoidectomy from 1995 to 2001. ResultsFollowed up for 3 to 5 years, the 3-year survival rate was 70.8%（17/24）, 5-year survival rate was 50.0%（8/16）. 2 cases failed to be followed up. 6 cases had local relapse, but no severe complications occurred. ConclusionsMaxillectomy and ethmoidectomy are effective for I or II stage carcinoma of the nasal cavity and the ethmoid sinus.
