Abstract: Objective To study pseudoaccommodation of different intraocular lenses with a double-pass system, and the results were compared with those by the defocus method and push-up method. Methods A total of 30 outpatients with age-related cataract were selected in this study. All the enrolled eyes were implanted with the same aspheric intraocular lens. The pseudoaccommodation of each selected eye was measured by optical quality analysis system(OQAS), defocus system and push-up method one month after the operation. Results The average pseudoaccommodation by OQAS examination, defocus method and push-up method was 2.34D, 2.5D and 2.93D, respectively. There's no statistical difference between OQAS examination and defocus method(P>0.05). But there's statistical difference between OQAS examination and push-up method(P<0.05). Conclusion The pseudoaccommodation measured by OQAS was relatively small. The results measured by OQAS was in close agreement with that measured by defocus method.
