[4] | Ocular ischemic syndrome(OIS)is usually undiagnosed or misdiagnosed due to its asymptomatic onset, complicated ocular manifestations, and the lack of awareness, and patients with OIS have a higher mortality. Improving the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of OIS through multidisciplinary collaboration is key to investigating and preventing systemic vascular events as well as decreasing blindness and mortality. This review summarizes the recent advances in the epidemiology, clinical diagnosis, and management of OIS..
