Effect of different endoscopic surgical methods for nasal septum deviation

Abstract:

Objective  To investigate the therapeutic effects of different endoscopic surgical methods for nasal septum deviation. Methods  A total of 212 patients with deviation of the nasal septum were enrolled in this study.Four kinds of endoscopic surgical methods were employed. Results  There were 52 cases tht had submucosal resection, 37 cases had modified sub-mucosal resection, 58 cases had rectification surgery and 65 cases had septorhinoplast. Efficacy and complications were not significantly different among the four groups. Conclusion  The experience and technique of the operator and the instrument can influence the selection and therapeutic effect of endoscopic surgical methods for nasal septum deviation.
