Treatment of deep neck abscess in 37 cases

Abstract: To investigate an effective method for deep neck abscess. MethodThe clinical data of 37 cases of deep neck abscess in our hospital from January 2000 to May 2007 were respectively analyzed. ResultsFollowing treatment in time, all were cured. During a follow-up from 6 months to 1 year, no accident and complications happened. ConclusionsEarly abscess surgical drainage,appropriate antibiotics and nutrition supporting treatment are effective for deep neck abscess.
