Anesthesia both in an adenoidectomy and in a tonsillectomy for epileptic children

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the security of anesthesia management both in adenoidectomy and in tonsillectomy for epileptic children. Method: Anesthesia was induced with midazolam, propofol, fentanyl and vecuronium by endotracheal intubation and retention with a low concentration of enflurane. Result: The response was good. Hyperspasmia did not occur during the operations. Conclusion: Combined anesthesia management is more responsible and safe for epileptic children both in an adenoidectomy and in a tonsillectomy.
