Chondroseptum or ethmoid in repairing of nasal septum perforation under endoscopy

Abstract:

Objective〓〖WTBZ〗To evaluate the clinical effects of nasal endoscopic neoplasty in treatment of nasal septum perforation with chondroseptum or ethmoid. 〖WTHZ〗Methods〓〖WTBZ〗22 cases of nasal septum perforation, of which, 12 cases were induced by nasal septum surgery, 2 cases by trauma, 2 cases by chemical rusty, and 3 cases non-causal, were treated by nasal endoscopic neoplasty with chondroseptum or ethmoid. After the operations, MEBO was used to promote nearby tissues grow towards the perforations. 〖WTHZ〗Results〓〖WTBZ〗All cases were successfully repaired with the squamous epithelization from 25 to 62 days. Followed up from 2 to 3 years, no surgical complications happened. 〖WTHZ〗Conclusion〓〖WTBZ〗Nasal endoscopic neoplasty for nasal septum perforation with chondroseptum or ethmoid is safe, handy and effective.
