Application of imaging navigation technique in the endoscopic sinonasal and skull base surgery.

Abstract: With development and introduction of imaging navigation technique, much progress has been made in the endoscopic sinonasal and skull base surgery. In the present review, the principles and working mechanisms, development history and indications of imaging navigation as well as the attitude towards its clinical applications are discussed systematically. Meanwhile, the recent progresses in the clinical applications of the imaging navigation technique and its future developing trends are also described.
