Effect of intranasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy

Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of dacrycystrhinostomy by nasal endoscopy. MethodsThe clinical data of 17 cases (19 eyes) from July 2004 to July 2006 were retrospectively analyzed. ResultsThe symptoms were obviously alleviated. 16 cases (18 eyes) were cured and 1 case (1 eye) was effective. All had epithelizations within 3 months. The successful rate of the operations was 100%. ConclusionDacrycystrhinostomy by nasal endoscopy is an effective method for chronic cystitis.
