Bronchoscopic video supervision system in infant bronchial foreign bodies

Abstract: To investigate the advantages and feasibility of a bronchoscopic video supervision system in the removal of bronchial foreign bodies in children. Methods3 cases aged from 11 months to 6 years were operated on. Foreign bodies were located in the bronchus in 1 case and in the trachea in 2 cases, and a peanut kernel was found in 2 cases and the plastic cap of a pen was found in 1 case. ResultsAll foreign bodies were successfully taken out. ConclusionsBronchoscopic video supervision system is safe and effective for infant bronchial foreign bodies, and can be used for other diseases of the airway.
