Minimal invasive adenoidectomy under nasal endoscopy

Abstract: Objective To explore the advantages of minimal invasive adenoidectomy with an electrical cutter with suction under nasal endoscopy. Methods 50 children with chronic sinusitis, sleep respiratory disorder or hearing loss induced by adenoid hypertrophy were subjected to adenoidectomies through the nose and month under nasal endoscopy. Results The adenoid gland was completely removed and the normal anatomic character was not destroyed. Conclusions This double-route adenoidectomy under nasal endoscopy provides a direct and clear view for accurately and effectively removing the adenoid tissue with less complications.
