Treatment of maxillary sinus cyst by maxillary anterior dual puncture

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive surgical technique of endoscopic treatment of maxillary sinus cyst by maxillary anterior dual puncture. Methods 40 cases of maxillary simple sinus cyst were performed endoscopy by the maxillary anterior dual puncture. All were followed up by endoscopy and CT 3 months after surgery. Results All had an average hospital stay of 3 days. Followed up 3 to 6 months, no dentition pain, headache as well as cheek numbness and other complications occurred. The maxillary sinus was smooth without purulent secretion and recurrence under endoscopic examination and nasal CT. Conclusion Nasal endoscopic treatment of maxillary sinus cyst by maxillary anterior dual puncture has the characteristics of safe, easy operation, good effect, few adverse reaction and few complications.
