Endoscopic sinus surgery for inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses

Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of endoscopic sinus surgery for inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Method: 18 patients with inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and paranosal sinuses were operated on by endoscopic sinus surgery. Result: During a follow-up of 1-4.5 years only one recurred. Conclusion: Endoscopic sinus surgery has advantages of clear field and little injury and therefore it is effective for inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity.
